August 2024 Summary

August 2024 has been a busy month for me .. completed the following jobs.

Mounted 3 TVs to walls for various customers

Installed a new letterbox in a Composite front door that didn't have a letterbox

Painted that front door in a very trendy Anthracite Grey

Hung a total of 14 Blinds for various customers

Fixed a Venetian Blind that was not rotating the slats properly

Replaced faulty Bathroom Downlights with new LED ones

Replaced 2 faulty double Electric Sockets with new ones

Installed a Curtain Pole

Cleaned a cold water fish tank regularly every week

Hung Vinyl Wallpaper in a Living Room .. a patterned feature wall around a fireplace and then 3 other walls with a different paper.

Installed a Loft Ladder

Installed 9 shelves for various customers

Built a wardrobe

Hung 5 Pictures on walls for various customers

Installed 2 Mains powered internal Aircon units ... Big Holes in walls!

Installed Plumbing for a new washing machine installation

Painted a ceiling in a bedroom

Painted Hallways, Landings & stairs, both walls and ceilings in a 3 storey town house.

Installed Celotex insulation in a garden summer room and connected electrics for 3 sockets and a light fitting to existing external electric supply customer already had.

Provided external ACO drainage for a garden

Changed a light fitting

Replaced a garden gate key lock with a new one

Planed sticking garden gate so it opens smoothly

Re-hung Curtain Pole in a kitchen

Fixed handle on kitchen drawer

Fixed kitchen drawer that had come off runners

Stripped old flaking paint from a bathroom, treated mould on ceiling and repainted bathroom with specialist mould resistant brilliant white paint

Replaced broken hinges and installed a new security bolt on a different garden gate

Refurbished and Lowered a Kitchen. New, modern thinner worktops fitted, with joins and cut outs for sink and hob. Refurb also included replacement end panels to replace tired old units and all new soft closing hinges for cupboards and rotary shelving in corner unit. The kitchen is now 2 inches lower and much easier for that customer to work at.

Completed lots of job assessments to give advice to customers and talk about options to complete work for them in September and October. Booked all of September and October with work!

My thanks to all of my customers, both new a returning for keeping me busy. I've redeemed a fair number of discount vouchers for customers! I would especially like to thank those customers who I had to rearrange appointments for because I injured my arm. I banged my arm whilst core drilling on a job and the resultant Hematoma ended up getting infected. The antibiotics are sorting that out now and it will be service as normal for my customers moving forwards!
