Specialist Handyman Services

I can turn my hand to just about any job you need doing.  All the usual things you would expect from a good Handyman including jobs like Furniture Assembly, Painting, TV Wall Mounting, Hanging Blinds and Curtain Poles, Fixing Shelves, Pictures & Mirrors etc to Walls, White Goods Installations (Including Integrated Appliances), Laminate Flooring, Installing Light Fittings and Ceiling Fans, Replacing Worktops, Doors, Door Handles, Electric Switches & Sockets etc with new ones, basic plumbing services like replacing taps, under kitchen sink pipes, toilets constantly dripping water in to the pan etc

If a job is beyond my skills or experience, such as plastering, I will say so and make recommendations if I can.

My engineering background means I am good at problem solving ... an essential skill in this line of work as you never know what you will find until you get started on some jobs!

I try to be as clear as possible with my prices so you know in advance what costs will be. If there is the potential for extra, unforeseen costs that occur during the job then that is mentioned in the Service descriptions as well.

PLEASE NOTE ...

I am an electrically competent person and as such able to do many works under the regulations but for specific jobs like rewiring a house, installing consumer units and cookers I would recommend you get a fully qualified electrician.

It is really important for me to say I am NOT Gas Safe registered so I am unable to work on gas appliances like hobs, cookers and boilers.  I can work on items near them but not on the gas items.

My current insurance precludes me working at heights so I am unable to offer services for Guttering, Soffits and Fascias unless you are in a bungalow!
