Letterbox in Composite Door

Chuffed with this one... I was asked if I could put a letterbox in a composite door.

A quick Google search says don't do it! But with a bit more research and contact with the door manufacturer we decided to go ahead. You can see the new letterbox works well.

I went back on a different day to paint the door. Very happy with the result as it has covered the chips and marks in the old paint on the door/frame very well and now looks like a new door again

This last photo was sent by the customer after they refitted the trim to the bottom of the door.
